During September and October of 2008, weekly, evening pick-up games were played on lighted fields at Kreager Park.
(I apologize for the poor quality of these pictures; night-shots are difficult.)
A shot of the field and lights. The sky was not nearly as light as this picture might suggest.
Darc waiting for the disc to drop while being persued by two Lites.
Target locked.
If the field isn't large enough, expand it a little bit.
Some pictures - this one, for example - were taken
with help from a borrowed Speedlite 580EX II flash.
A textbook example of a stack and its defense.
Darc waiting for the disc to drop (again). This time, Lite is nowhere in sight.
Ninja attack!
Definitely a ninja.
Sweet catch.
Despite a valiant effort, this disc is just out of reach.
Lite gets the D.
Hats. Gloves. Shorts?
Lite lays out for the catch.
Darc returns the favor.
Lite a few moments away from a point.
Reach for the stars and you just might end up with a disc.
